Terms of Service

This is a working draft and has not been reviewed by an attorney.
Agreement
These terms govern your use of Flight Recall, operated by AIRNOSTIC LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Flight Recall, and you must provide accurate account information.
What the service does
Flight Recall lets you record preflight observations by voice or photo, transcribes voice notes to text, detects the aviation issue and location you described, and stores those entries against the aircraft you logged them for, with timestamps and history.
Safety — read this
Flight Recall is a documentation aid. It is not an airworthiness authority, not a maintenance tracking system of record, and not a substitute for a proper preflight inspection, a certificated mechanic, or the judgment and regulatory responsibilities of the pilot in command.
Nothing in this service determines whether an aircraft is airworthy or safe to fly. The pilot in command remains solely responsible for the preflight inspection, for the airworthiness determination, and for compliance with all applicable regulations. Do not rely on Flight Recall — or on the completeness or accuracy of anything it has recorded — as the basis for any airworthiness, maintenance, or go/no-go decision.
Your content
You own the recordings, photos, notes, and records you create. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the service for you — for example, to transcribe a voice note, or to show your aircraft’s history back to you and to pilots you have shared that aircraft with. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in routine backups for a limited period.
Acceptable use
Do not use Flight Recall to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, to upload content you have no right to upload, to attempt to access other users’ data, or to disrupt, probe, or overload the service. Do not misrepresent records or falsify entries.
Availability and accuracy
We do not guarantee any level of uptime, and the service may change or be interrupted at any time. Automated transcription and issue detection are imperfect: transcripts may contain errors, and the detected issue or location may be wrong or missing. You are responsible for reviewing every entry and correcting it. The service provides editing tools for exactly this reason.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIRNOSTIC LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, or loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including any decision made in reliance on records stored in it. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
Termination
You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the product changes. We will update the “last updated” date above, and continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
